2021 Spring Celebration
The Spring Celebration is fun for the whole family! Face painting, sidewalk chalk, games, and a fun and exciting egg hunt for children ages 3 - 7.

2021 Annual Kids Fishing Day!

Lafayette Parks, the Department of Natural Resources, and the Lafayette Breakfast Optimist Club will provide all of the tools necessary for your youngsters to fishing.

Ages

The catch and release fishing day is open to all children ages 3-14. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
 

Fees & Extras

All bait and equipment is provided. This event is FREE! Lunch is provided.

                           *First 30 Children will get a FREE Cane Pole*

2020 Movies at McAllister
Lafayette Parks & Recreation wants to offer families a free, safe and healthy activity this fall! Movies at McAllister will offer families the opportunity to grab a blanket or lawn chair, sit back, relax and enjoy a free family-friendly movie while inside at McAllister Recreation Center.

 2021 Holiday Drop & Shop

Do you have last minute holiday shopping to finish? Drop your children off at the McAllister Recreation Center for an evening of entertainment so you can finish shopping or wrapping! Dinner will be provided and ages 5 - 12 are welcome to participate.
