What Is Recyclable?
Recycling Reminders
- Keep recyclables loose in the bin; Do not bag your recyclables
- Make sure your recyclables are clean and dry before putting them in the bin
- Items smaller than a credit card are not recyclable
Our mixed recycling program only accepts specific items that are able to be sorted efficiently and that are possible to be recycled in the Midwest. For items like scrap metal, motor oil, appliances, computers, plastic grocery bags, and many other items there are other places around town that will accept these to recycle. Visit the Unique Trash Items page to get more information on where to take these items.
