All bid documents, such as Request for Advertising (RFA), Request for Proposals (RFPs), and Joint Purchasing Board (JPB) bids must be obtained through the Office of the City Clerk.They may also be requested electronically by referencing the name of the bid and by including your company name, your name and all relevant contact information.
Quotes
Documents on Request for Quotes (RFQs) can be obtained by prospective vendors directly at the Purchasing Department. They may also be requested electronically by indicating the name of the quote and including your company name, your name and all relevant contact information.Reverse Auction
Reverse Auctions are not being practiced at this time.The Joint Purchasing Board currently has no active solicitations.
The City of Lafayette has conducted Reverse Auctions in the past but presently does not practice this form of bid solicitation.
RFA pertains to the formal sealed bidding process. All bid documents must be obtained through the Office of the City Clerk in person or requested electronically by clicking here. All sealed bids must be submitted to the Office of the City Clerk on or before the due date as will be disclosed in the Notice to Bidders for each bid solicited.

Quote packages relating to all RFQs are issued through the Purchasing Department. These documents can be obtained by requesting them in person or by electronic mail by clicking here. All quotes submitted by suppliers will be delivered to the Purchasing Department on or before the due date as stated in the RFQ. The due date will be found within the body of the cover letter inviting qualified suppliers to participate in the quote process.
