[ARCHIVED] Free Public Training for August

The Lafayette Police Department is providing free training to the public on protecting your home and property from burglaries, vandalism, thefts and potential intruders. The date and time for this training will be Tuesday, August 19th, at 5:30pm. The training will take place at the Lafayette Police Training Center, 1301 South St, and will be presented by our Crime Prevention Specialist, Detective Cecil Johnson, who has attended training classes on home protection and has a wealth of experience as a detective in apprehending and interviewing burglars and other criminals. This class was taught previously in March.

Anybody interested in attending this training is asked to reserve a seat using the following link: Seating is limited to 50 people.
