[ARCHIVED] Charlisa Vorice Arrested in Charles St Stabbing

Arrest Made in Overnight Stabbing

On the above date, at approximately 1:57am, the Lafayette Police Department received a report of a stabbing in the 1800 block of Charles St.  Officers responded and located a male with multiple stab wounds.  The male was transported to a local hospital for treatment.  The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.  The suspect, identified as Charlisa Vorice (21), was located at the scene and taken into custody.  Charlisa was later transported to the Tippecanoe County Jail, she was arrested for Battery with Serious Bodily Injury.

This incident is not considered to be random, as the victim and suspect knew each other.  The investigation is ongoing.  Anybody with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact the Lafayette Police Department at 765-807-1200 or the WeTip at Hotline 800-78-CRIME.
