[ARCHIVED] Shooting on Phipps Court

On Thursday January 25, at approximately 10:15 PM, Lafayette Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 3000 block of Phipps Court.  Officers arrived and located one adult male victim, Isaiah Powe 41, who suffered a gunshot wound to the lower leg.  Powe was transported to a local hospital for treatment.  The injury is not believed to be life threatening.  There were no other reports of injuries or property damage in the area.

The suspect(s) reportedly fled the scene in a vehicle prior to police arrival and have not been located at this time.  The investigation is ongoing.
