[ARCHIVED] Saturday Shooting Press Release

On Saturday, June 18th, at 2:10am, Lafayette police officers responded to St. Elizabeth Hospital in reference to a male victim that had arrived with a gunshot wound to the leg. During the investigation, it was learned that the incident had taken place in the parking lot of 2100 Elmwood Ave. The victim was later transported to Indianapolis for additional medical care. At this time, no arrests have been made.

This incident has been turned over to detectives for further investigation. Anybody with information regarding this incident is encouraged to call the Lafayette Police Department (807-1200) or the We-Tip Hotline (800-78-CRIME).
