[ARCHIVED] Stabbing at 501-2 S 16th Street

For Immediate Release:

On Monday December 14th, 2015 at 1:41pm officers were dispatched to 501 S 16th Street, apartment #2, reference a domestic disturbance that resulted in the victim being stabbed.

Officers arrived and determined that Dante Williams had been injured by a Taneshia Verner. Williams and Verner are in a relationship and they had been arguing when it became physical. Dante Williams received minor stab wounds to his left forearm and left thigh during this altercation when Verner grabbed a nearby knife and attacked him. Taneshia Verner then fled from the scene and as of this time, has not been located.

Dante Williams was transported to St. Elizabeth East where he was treated and released.
