[ARCHIVED] Stabbing in the 1900-blk Windemere Drive

On Sunday September 20, 2015 at approximately 2138 hours, officers with the Lafayette Police Department responded to the 1900-block of Windemere Drive regarding a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located a victim who was suffering from minor stab wounds to her body. A second juvenile victim was located, suffering from a minor stab wound. Both victims were treated at the scene for their injuries. The victims and suspect are known to each other.

Officers arrested Dorenda Stewart, age 36, and transported her to the Tippecanoe County Jail on a preliminary charge of battery with a deadly weapon.
