At approximately 8:00am, Lafayette Police officers located a person of interest in the 200 block of Perrin Avenue.  That person was arrested on an unrelated warrant, and is currently being held at the Tippecanoe County Jail.

This incident does not appear to be a random act of violence, and the Lafayette Police does not believe that the general public is in any type of danger.

This investigation is still ongoing.  Anyone with any information in regards to this incident is asked to contact the Lafayette Police Department at 765-807-1200, or through the anonymous WeTIP Hotline at 800-78-CRIME.
