[ARCHIVED] Virtual Public Input Meeting

Virtual Meeting Banner

The City of Lafayette is conducting a first of its kind virtual public meeting to seek input on the study being conducted to convert 3rd and 4th Streets in Downtown Lafayette from one-way to two-way streets.
The goal of this project is to test the feasibility of this conversion and its potential impacts to improve traffic flow, access to local businesses, safety, and promoting a better quality of place. The city is working with a team of consultants, including American Structurepoint and MKSK, to facilitate this effort.

The current state and federal COVID-19 pandemic guidelines including stay at home orders are such that in-person/face-to-face meetings are prohibited or discouraged in order to slow the spread of the virus and end it as soon as possible. This has necessitated new and innovative ways to keep projects going while giving citizens the opportunity to participate. This meeting will be conducted virtually using Zoom software.
This public meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 8th from 7:00 – 8:30 pm with opportunities to engage digitally via comments/questions virtually.
